**NEW DATE** Xmas Card Workshop
Hi Everyone,
On Saturday evening we discovered that Friday the 5th was not going to work for anyone for my workshop so we have decided to move it.
The new date and time is:
Friday November 12th at 6:30 pm...it is still at my house, just the date has changed.

Christmas Card & Candle Workshop
Location: My House
9263 Lakeshore Road
Angola, NY 14006
When: November 5th at 6:30pm
Projects: 4 Christmas cards and a Christmas candle.
Cost: $7.00.
The master chef Mike will be supplying dinner/drinks/desserts for us girls so be prepared to be pampered!
This workshop is also going to be a MYSTERY HOSTESS gathering!!!!
Earn tickets by:
1.) Reading my blog the night before and remembering information from it.
2.) Bring a guest that is new to our scrapping booking group
3.) Bring the requested supplies
4.) Filling out your Christmas Wish List card I will be supplying you
and more!!!!

Here is an example of the stamped candle we will be making.....I had SO Much fun making this....( I know the finished pic is poor, but it gives the jist of the project...there is glitter on it, as well as some watercolor art...)
They make really nice xmas gifts for teachers, bus drivers, etc...something small but personal....
I really hope you all can make it! I will be a GREAT time!

Remember if you cannot make it, you can always order the kit and I will send it to you......
The kit contains everything you need to make all of the projects with a detailed set of instructions to complete.

Monthly Creative Club - No Commitment Required
I must give credit to fellow consultant Lisa Stenz for lifting this wonderful idea from here site: Lisa's Creative Corner....much thanks!
My Monthly Creative Club is geared to help us all take some time out for ourselves and have a few hours to be able to leave the world behind and spend that time creating beautiful projects that we will be able to treasure for years to come.
My Creative Club meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7pm at my house, however, you do not need to be local to be part of the club. My long distance members get their kits mailed to them and any orders they place, get drop shipped to them directly from Close to My Heart. I will post the months project on this site one week prior to the first club meeting.
Club Information:
You are welcome to join the club at anytime.There is no commitment to stay in the club for any length of time, or to place an order. There will be between a $5 - $10 charge (depending on that months project) for the supplies used for projects we make that evening. I do ask that you RSVP at least 24 hours before the club meeting to ensure I have a kit made for you. Our projects will range from cards to small gift items, to scrapbook pages, and more. Each person who signs up for this club will have their name added to the bottom of the hostess list. the list will rotate every month. The person whose name is on the top of the list will get the hostess rewards that month. In order for your name to keep its "place" on the list, you must place an order for that months "kit" whether you attend the class or simply do it on your own.
I think this is a great way to stay active with your scrapbooking, earn some really good scrapbooking rewards, and keep in touch with your creativity.

WELCOME - HERE WE GO!!!!
Have you ever felt like scrapping but run into a road block and can't think of where to begin or where to go?
That is the story of my scrapping "career". Then I discovered that cruising through different scrap booking blogs and getting involved in blog hops and blog contests helped me jump that hurtle and create new items that got me excited about scrapping again.
Okay, Okay I admit it....I am also part techno-geek as well. If I didn't monitor myself I could easily sit on a PC for 24 hours a day with my warm pepsi and chocolate next to me and not even notice a minute going by.
I have been a Close to My Heart Independent Consultant for about 2 years now. I have "fallen off the scrapping wagon" the past few months but have become determined to climb right back on and reinvigorate my business.
My goal with my blog is to keep all my Close To My Heart friends and family excited about scrapping and creating with the Close To My Heart product line.
Here are a few things that scrappingwlisa.blogspot.com is going to be offering on a regular basis......
1.) Monthly NON-COMMIT Creative Club
Starting on November 1st....My Creative Club meets the 2nd Wednesday and Thursday of every month at 7pm at my house. For more information see the following post labeled Monthly No-Commitment Creative Club...you need not be local to participate!
2.) Monthly contests for all viewers.
I will post a challenge at the beginning of every month (starting Nov 1st 2010) everyone submits their projects on the last day of the month I will announce the winner(voted on by CTMH independent consultants through our forum, not me....)
There will be a different prize awarded each month.
3.) Updates on monthly SOTM and other offerings from CTMH
4.) Any MORE........
I welcome any and all ideas that you would like added to my blog to encourage you to visit my site and that would help you stay motivated to make time for you to scrap. Feel Free to comment on my blog to let me know what you think!!!
